Domain Support - 123-Reg.co.uk If you have ordered your domain though '123-Reg' follow the instructions below to setup the DNS redirection...


STEP 1:

Start at: www.123-reg.co.uk

You will need to login to the account using the "login to your control panel" button. This is located on the top right hand side of the page.

Log in here using the details you entered when buying the domain initially.
 
 

STEP 2:

You should now be at a new page.

* Using the scroll bar on the right hand side of your web browser scroll half way down the page. You should now be presented with the blue section and a dropdown box that contains a domain name. Next to this dropdown box is a button that says "modify domain".

* Select the domain you wish to modify from the dropdown box

* Click the "modify domain" button.

If your site is a .uk domain, go straight to 'STEP 4'; if not, go to 'STEP 3'.
 


STEP 3:

You should now be at a new page.

* Select the option you require. The options you will be faced with are as follows:

* Manage My Blog
* Access My Instantsite Account
* Web Forwarding
* E-mail Forwarding
* Manage DNS
* Change Nameservers
* Modify Contact Details
* ***MANAGE DOMAIN LOCKING***
* Transfer Domain to another 123reg User
* Display or Print an Invoice

Once you have unlocked the domain, you will need to go back to the last menu screen and choose the 'change nameservers' option.

     
 

STEP 4:

* Manage My Blog
* Access My Instant site Account
* Web Forwarding
* E-mail Forwarding
* Manage DNS
* ***CHANGE NAMESERVERS***
* Change IPS Tag
* Modify Contact Details
* WHOIS Opt out
* Transfer Domain to another 123reg User
* Display or Print an Invoice

Select the "Change Name Servers" link. You can then enter in the following nameservers:

If you ordered BEFORE Feb 2008 the correct nameservers (DNS) should be modified to reflect:

Primary: ns1.floppyserver.co.uk
Secondary: ns2.floppyserver.co.uk

If you ordered AFTER Feb 2008 the correct nameservers (DNS) should be modified to reflect:

Primary: ns3.floppyserver.co.uk
Secondary: ns4.floppyserver.co.uk

Please allow 24 hours for these changes to propagate.

Once saved, expect to see the domain active within the next 3 hours. This then allows you to access your Floppynet Control panel via www.floppynet.co.uk/login.php and will activate all the features of your account, including email.
